I was coming back here with a progress report and my plan for getting my health back on track!
That was nearly 3 months ago… what on earth happened?
Life. Work. Stuff. That’s what!
But, no matter, here I am now.

Essentially I was having a big grumble about how gross I was feeling, about the fact that I’d let myself get this way and that it was going to take an avalanche of ideas to dig myself out of it all.
Here was my list:
- food sensitivities,
- fluid retention,
- aches and pains,
- poor memory
- my weight.
I started with an assessment on myself.
My body composition was right off: extra fat, lack of muscle, extra fluid.
Just as I expected.
My mitochondrial function (the ability to produce energy) was low, and cell wall structure weak.
My blood microscopy showed inflammation, oxidation, liver stress and B vitamin deficiency.
I assessed my hormones initially with blood levels. I then followed up with salivary hormone levels.
My oestrogen were showing higher risk levels, and my adrenal hormones, DHEA and cortisol, were quite elevated. This indicated to me a huge need to get my gut and liver function to optimal levels.
Alongside this I realised that several of my clients were in the same type of position: very similar complaints and results.
So I started working on a plan for us all.
In late May I started on my program ‘The Hormone Detox. Reset your hormones. Detox your body. Release your fat.’ This consists of a very clean eating regime and supplements to facilitate fat release, detoxification, reset your master hormones and to remedy any specific body needs.
- I have released about 6 kg of fat.
- My energy is improved, my brain is clear, the bloating has disappeared, I
- have released a kg of extra fluid I was carrying and
- I’m feeling so much better generally.
I have still a long way to go!
My initial complaint was “I’m too fat.”
I felt my soft tummy folds, my cellulitic thighs and butt, and thought about how I hated myself.
These thoughts were what led me to assess my whole self and realising that life had gotten on top of me.
I am a firm believer that your mindset goes a long way to dictating your success in all aspects of your life.
What I have found though, when weight issues are involved, is that we often need to see those positive results to help us believe that we can achieve in the long run.
So now, as I wake and run my hands down my body I feel good.
I’m still soft and lumpy, but overall I’m feeling so different.
This program gives those initial results quite quickly and lets you see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m doing some personalised yoga here at home, walking out in nature and meditating.
I’m eating no processed foods at all:
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- fresh protein sources
- good healthy fats (avocado, coconut and olive oil)
- plenty of water
- a little chicken broth
I feel good!
